My love affair with design began with a career in the fashion industry, in my hometown of Montreal, Quebec where I became an international product manager and creative designer for women’s, men’s and children’s clothing lines. In early 2000, I created a highly successful real estate business buying and developing homes in San Diego where my love for creative design flourished. Some of my most recent design projects include 7732 Lookout Drive, 9811 Black Gold Road, 1120 Muirlands Vista Way, 5380 Moonlight Lane, 2331 Bahia Dr, and 1335 Virginia Way in La Jolla.
I have been remodeling homes for international investors, private clients, and resale for over 25 years in the Luxury Coastal/Inland Southern California market. I love bringing extensive knowledge and industry connections to the design table when working with my clients. Being fluent in English, Spanish and French, I can navigate your project with ease. As a mother to twin teenage daughters, and residing in La Jolla for over 20 years, I have honed my ability to manage a family and build the creative design business of Betty Toroyan Interior Design giving me added insight into the needs of families.
